(via TreeHugger) Heath Ledger famously directed the animated anti-whaling music video for Modest Mouse’s song “King Rat.”

The video and song are are really quite moving together (you’ll have to search around for the audio to listen to both together as Sony isn’t authorizing the audio with the video on YouTube). The video is still worth a watch if you have a few minutes. Kind of disturbing and appropriate at the same time.
